One year ago.....

This is Kyla's picture from her tumbling review last year. I can't believe its time for her review again :( I'm sure that I have told you all this before, but my dad used to tell me when I got out of HS time would fly by. I thought he was on drugs :) (jk Dad) My kids are growing up so fast!!!! Kassidy is almost done with elementary school....13 more days :( Kyla will start kindergarten next year!!! Where did the time go???? Karlin will be in 5th grade next year....it seems like yesterday that he was graduating from preschool!!!! My how time flies by!!!!! Love you all....Mom xoxoxoxoxo

Crazy

Okay...you are wondering why it takes me so long to post??? Well I am going to give you the short run down of my next few weeks....LOL Karlin plays baseball Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday this week and next. Thursday along with Karlin's baseball we have to do Dutch Oven Potatoes for about 300 people. This weekend we are helping Wendy Winn do a benefit for Joseph Kimball down in Salina...We are doing the cooking for about 200 people. The next weekend is the HS Rodeo here in Nephi...guess where I am going to be??? In the snack shack....Then on the 15th is Kyla and Kassidy's dance review. On the 16th we are going to go to Provo to do a walk with Marci (Blackett) Rasch for March of Dimes. On the 20th is Kyla's preschool graduation. Then on the 23 she has a Little Britches Rodeo in Salina. Then I am home for 2 weeks before we head to Disneyland!!!!!...I am sure that I have forgot about a dozen things, but now you know why I am always sooooo CRAZY!!! LOL It keeps me out of trouble...and what more could you ask for???

Branding

I took these pics on Saturday. We branded the calves at the farm. As you can see, it is a family affair (and a few friends as well)...It was a really long day, but we enjoy it!!! Shad came with us and the kids had a ball!!! Thanks so much for letting me play Kimo!!! We love you guys!!!!

Just Chillin

This weekend has been one of those where I didn't get a whole lot accomplished. That's okay...we had fun with the kids. We took Karlin and Kyla to the movie on Saturday...Monsters vs. Aliens. (very cute). Stacy, Kevin, Jadin, Jakota, Todd, Cherylee, Carson, Hayden, and Morgan went with us. I had taken Kass and some of her friends on Monday for her birthday. We were sitting there waiting for the movie to start and who should walk in??? Kassidy...she had come up with Stephanie. Anyway, we did that on Saturday and that's about all we got done. Today, more of the same...I tried to get some of my homework done for my accounting class...(It wasn't that much fun)...I now have a project to do that should take 3 to 4 hours to do...Yeah (not). Oh well, just think how much smarter I will be ha ha. Anyway the weekend is about shot, funny how they seem to go too fast. I am watching the ACM's....it is so great to see so much of George Strait :) Trace Adkins sang with some of the military people...it was great! I am jealous because Angie (Hansen) Cook is down there watching it live! Anyway...it's always great to watch the awards...Geez...as I read this I realize that I have really rambled...oh well welcome to my world...

As I finish up, I think I need some suggestions...I have 2 kids that are like oil and water...they can't be in the same house together let alone the same room. Any suggestions on what I can do to help them to get along...I AM DESPERATE. If I have to listen to them fight one more minute, I am going to lose it!!!! lol

Kyla

This weekend we went down to Salina to the Little Britches Rodeo. Kyla was in the rodeo and Kass went to help. Steve and I had to split because Karlin had baseball tryouts and piano festival on Saturday. They had to hold it at the high school, so my mom got to go watch Karlin. She said he did a GREAT job. (of course) I am so proud of him. Kyla got SOOOO sick on Saturday night, so Steve had to come down early Sunday morning to get her...I was announcing, so I thought I better stay :). This is a pic of her trying to be a big girl....she is hanging with Racheal and Ashley....Thanks so much girls...it meant the world to Kyla!!!! By the way, Kyla did great...it was her first LB rodeo, and she LOVED it (surprise huh?) I am not sure if she likes the rodeo or if she likes to bum....maybe a little of both. Anyway, she had a blast and it turned out okay, but I am glad to be home!!!!!

Busy, Busy, Busy

I can't believe how long it's been since my last post!!!! I have been fighting the kids to get on the computer, so that will be my excuse lol :) Actually I spent last weekend in Ogden at Chance's college rodeo!!!! He rodeos for Weber, so he signed me up for a helper...and I found out that I am too fat and old to run with the college kids!!! It was actually fun for me...I love to help anyone out and especially my favorite little college stud!!! For those of you who don't know, Chance is my youngest brother...and he's also my baby!!!! Don't mess with him unless you want one mean old lady on your tail lol jk but seriously I just love the kid....Saturday night we were getting ready to come home (me, Jerry, and Karlin) and we were loading Chance's stuff in his car because he was leaving for Mexico early on Sunday morning, and we couldn't find his wallet...talk about a panic attack...I knew he couldn't fly without his driver's license, so we searched frantically and found it...He made it to Mexico and is having a good time (or so he says, but I'll bet that he misses me LOL) I love to watch the kids compete...The girl that won the short go on Saturday tied her goat in a 6.9...CRAZY!!!! So congrats to all who had a really good performance!!!!
