FUNNY

Mick told me about this thing that she had found on someone's blog while she was blog stalking lol....So I thought I would try it...It's is the following three look-alike meters. I had to do Kass with Steve and I cause I didn't have a pic of Chad on my computer...when I get one, I will redo it! I have to say the results kind of shocked me...I figured Kass was going to look more like me...DUH that's a no brainer! I have always thought that Karlin was the spitting image of Steve, but he is exactly equal. Kyla on the other hand, I thought looked more like my family than any of my kids, but it said she looks more like Steve...so either I am blind or just choosing to see what I want to see LOL...Anyway just click on one of them to make your own! Then let me know when you do it so that I can look and see!

Karlin

Tuesday night we went to Karlin's Jr. Jazz game. It was his next to last game, so of course I thought I better get some pics...(Mick at least I got some...) The first picture is Jakota making a shot. Steve is a much better photographer than I am...but don't tell him I said that lol. The next three are of Karlin. He has made some major improvements in basketball. His coach is Mike Bowring and he is AMAZING with the kids. Karlin had a really good game even though he didn't score any points...He had a steal, 3 rebounds, and 1 or 2 assists. I am so proud of Karlin...he likes to try everything at least once. He has fun no matter what he is doing! He has a pretty positive attitude unless his mom is too hard on him. I love you tons Karlin!!!!

Rodeo Moms

Hey All! I just wanted to bring your attention to one of the blogs I follow! As you all know (whether you want to or not), my kids are involved in Junior Rodeo. You will probably notice that I have a blog for RodeoMomsClub.Blogspot.Com. What is it??? It is a group of Mom's that are trying to help other Moms as we travel down the rodeo trail. For those of you who do this, you know it is not always an easy feat. It is expensive and A LOT of hard work. But on the upside, I can't imagine anything else that I would rather be doing! It is such a great experience for my kids. It teaches them so much responsibility! They are responsible for the animals, so they know that the animals have to be taken care of before I take care of the kids. There is so much for them to learn. The friends they meet are usually so great. So please let all your friends know about this blog! It's got lots of great information no matter where you are at on "The Rodeo Trail". Thanks for all of your support!! Love ya!

S-T-R-E-T-CH-Y

I just had to show you this pic of Kyla...She was showing her older sister what tricks she could do...she amazes me. She is really good at dance, tumbling, and riding. I had to show you how she stretches...it makes me hurt lol.

I just got home from the high school basketball game. My nephew Jadin, plays on the Freshman team. I would encourage you to go watch them...it's been pretty fun. For those who don't know, we at Juab have a new coaching staff. Coach Ellsmore is the new Freshman Coach. I would just like to say that he is AMAZING with the boys. He is very positive and as far as I can see, the kids seem to be having a good time. I also think that he realizes he is teaching more than basketball. By the way, the Freshman won tonight. The new JV coach is Brett Lovell. I haven't got to watch the JV much because usually the Freshman and JV teams usually play at the same time, but I have got to watch them a couple of times. Brock Orme and Taryn Wright are good little ball handlers. I love to watch them play. The teams seem to be coming along pretty good. The thing that I like the very most is that the boys seem to be having a really good time. The JV also came out with a win. The new head coach is Coach Shumway. Jamison Izatt is a very intense player, which makes him a lot of fun to watch. Kyler Jones and Jake Bradford are also fun to watch. It was not our greatest game to say the least...In fact that would be the understatement of the century. We could not get ANYTHING to fall. We lost by about 30 points. I've decided the only difference between basketball and football is the pads. Basketball is just as much a contact sport anymore. A couple of the kids on SS's team got hurt...I think the refs have just let the game get out of hand...not just this game--ALL games. Our kids played their hearts out, but it just wasn't our night. So to the kids, I must say you certainly gave it your all. I would also like to comment on their demeanor. Even though we were having an off night, our boys were pretty respectful. Brock Orme even helped one of SS players up off the floor, and they weren't always nice. They really have a lot of class. I am not saying they are perfect, but compared to some of the other teams I have watched, they are very collected. If you haven't been to watch the team under the new coach, it's quite intense. The game certainly moves fast.

Thanks to the coaches. It's great, as a fan, to see the kids having a good time. I am grateful to the coaches for respecting the kids as well. Those kids will play their hearts out for you, IF you treat them with respect. The kids want to win as much as the coach does. Nobody wants to go home with a loss. Tonight there was one kid on the SS team that NEVER quit whining. I have to say, I was never so glad as to see someone foul out of the game. I actually stood up and cheered. So good luck to the teams, and thanks to coaches. GO JUAB!

Here's just a few!!!!

We went out yesterday morning and had some family pics taken. It was a little chilly, but my kids (who complained all morning about having to get ready), had a great time. I found out I really have some posers.. They really got into the picture thing. Mick is starting to do some photography so we volunteered to help her by letting her take our pics. She does a good job and she just got a new camera...she is so excited. I will post them and let you see how they turned out. Thanks Mick! You can click on her blog from here to see her photo blog...Still Memories. I can't believe the kids are growing up so fast...Kassidy will be 12 in March...that means off to YW she'll go....I don't think it's that neat actually, makes me feel so old...Karlin just turned 10...He's my little man...He is so good to do whatever we ask him EXCEPT for when we ask him to quit fighting with his sisters.....Kyla (my baby) will be 6 this year...:( I opted to wait to start her in kindergarten until this August...seriously, the best decision I could have made...she has done so well this year in Preschool...of course, she has an AWESOME teacher...Thanks Josalyn. My Dad used to tell us when we were little that after we got out of high school, time would just fly by us. I can remember thinking...This man is on drugs (of course I was a teenager who new EVERYTHING) time goes so slow now, how is that going to change?...Boy was he right! I can't believe how fast everything has gone by...Dad's been gone 4 years now...When I tell people that, they are so surprised...When I think of the things that have happened without him here, I can't believe it...Appreciate every day. Love and miss you EVERYDAY Dad!
